How We Do It

Because of negative experiences of our own with near criminals running their own businesses, and because the BBB turned out to be an inadequate avenue of settlement, we set out to create a better system of alerting the public to bad business practices.

The Better Business Bureau, is run just like any other business. It makes money. Because it makes money, management is responsible for the bottom line. That's their driving force. They charge businesses upwards of $700 to join their program and for the right to display their logo. The consumer pays nothing.

Ever go to your local BBB and look at 'complaints' about a company? Their cryptic nonsense. And if there is a complaint, what little details listed are vague. And that's not to mention the 'resolved' status indicator. It's equally as vauge. The consumer can't read exactly what the complaint and resolution was.  That's not helpful at all. Consequently, the only people benefiting from the BBB are the businesses who pay the $700 fee.

So the BBB's time as an effective source of consumer protection has come and gone.

We're picking up the torch though, by letting the public write their own story, in their own words. Why is that so unique? The fun part is that this site is owned and operated by a SEO professional. The site and all of the complaints created will be optimized to rank well at search engines like Google. So imagine your story getting front page attention each time someone searches for the company that did you wrong.

This is far more effective than the BBB. Our hope is that companies will do more in the way of customer service to  prevent these kinds of complaints in the future. Until then, blog away.
